JUST when I had got to accept the trickery of the National Party in the Cowper electorate, i.e. running a candidate as Independent for mayor, I now witness TV advertisements with a message that ‘voting for an Independent in Cowper is a vote for Albanese’, authorised in very small print by the National Party.
This is a blatant untruth, a lie.
There is no connection between the two.
It would be more accurate to say that a vote for the Nationals is a vote for Peter Dutton.
There is a connection there.
