THE region’s best junior basketballers will do battle this weekend.
The Coffs Harbour Suns Youth Men (Under 20s) host the Port Macquarie Dolphins, with tip off at 5pm on Saturday, 9 May, at Sportz Central.
The Suns have already been victorious against the Dolphins this season, having had an 81-66 win in Port Macquarie.
It’s the Suns second home game of the season, having been defeated by the Hills Hornets last month.
The game is part of Round 7 of the Basketball NSW Waratah Basketball League representative season.
The Suns currently sit in fourth spot on the ladder with a 3-3 record.
They had previous wins against the Central Coast Crusaders, Port Macquarie Dolphins, and Parramatta Cumberland.
The Waratah Basketball League season sees the Suns take on teams from Sydney, the Central Coast, and Port Macquarie.
