CRUNCH time has arrived for the region’s rugby league players as the Group 2 Rugby League finals series kicks off this weekend.
The Woolgoolga Seahorses host the Macksville Sea Eagles in the Qualifying Semi-Final on Sunday afternoon at Solitary Islands Sports Ground.
The winner will get a shot at minor premiers the Sawtell Panthers, in the Major Semi-Final on Sunday, 23 August.
The loser faces the winner of this weekend’s Elimination Semi-Final.
The Coffs Harbour Comets and Nambucca Roosters will try to keep their season alive when they face off in the Elimination Semi-Final on Saturday afternoon at Geoff King Motors Oval.
The winner moves on to face the loser of this weekend’s Qualifying Semi-Final, while it’s season over for the loser.
The Woolgoolga Seahorses and Macksville Sea Eagles play off in the reserve grade Qualifying Semi-Final, with the Coffs Harbour Comets and Grafton Ghosts facing off in the Elimination Semi-Final.
The Grafton Ghosts and Coffs Harbour Comets clash in the women’s Qualifying Semi-Final, while the Woolgoolga Seahorses and South Grafton Rebels will try to keep their season alive in the Elimination Semi-Final.
The Sawtell Panthers and Nambucca Roosters Under 18s meet in the Qualifying Semi-Final, as the Coffs Harbour Comets and Woolgoolga Seahorses meet in the Elimination Semi-Final.
