THE COFFS Coast is set to once again host Australia’s best Oztag players.
Teams from across the country will play off for national titles in Coffs Harbour next week, during the Australian Senior Oztag Championships at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium and surrounding fields.
The National Championships are being held from Friday, 13 November, to Sunday, 15 November.
Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie’s best players will combine forces to compete in the Mid North Coast Mariners teams.
Mid North Coast Mariners senior teams made their debut at the Australian Championships in 2023.
Coffs Harbour players had previously competed in the Coffs Harbour Thunder teams.
The Australian Senior Championships that are being held in Coffs Harbour follows the cancellation of last month’s Australian Junior Championships, which were due to be held in the city but were rescheduled for Sydney later this month.
Coffs Harbour is also scheduled to host both the Junior and Senior State Oztag Championships in February and March next year.
