A NEW kind of church service is coming to Toormina in 2026.
Called “The Community Of The Heart”, it offers meditation, spiritual healing, songs, mantra and teachings drawn from many of the world’s major religions and spiritual teachers, such as Jesus, Buddha, Bishop Spong, Yogananda, Madame Blavatsky, Nanak, Osho, Baha’u’llah and Sai Baba.
The service will be held every second Sunday from 8:30am at the Toormina Community centre.
Founder Les Dyer has over 40 years’ experience running churches in Sydney and Brisbane.
“We don’t wish to intrude upon any existing congregations,” said Les.
“We’re not the enemy.
“We’re simply offering an alternative connection for those people who seek healing and spiritual commitment but don’t feel happy with their existing options.”
The first service will be held on Sunday, 4 January from 8.30am at the Toormina Community Centre.
