Stallholders getting ready for Living Well Expo

ORGANISATIONS and businesses supporting older adults and people living with disability on the Mid North Coast, are gearing up for the free Coffs Harbour Living Well Expo.

Returning on Wednesday 13 May, it will bring together community members, service providers, and other organisations, with a shared goal of helping people connect with their communities and “live well”.

Held at the Coffs Harbour Showground from 10am to 2pm, the one-day Expo will allow people to understand the services available within their location.

In previous years, the event has welcomed over 1,000 attendees – providing a valuable opportunity for providers to showcase their services to people actively seeking support and information.

More than 70 stallholders attended last year.

“Stallholders have the opportunity to share their support and services with the community and collaborate with others in the industry to make connections and build relationships,” said Claudia Rigg, Blue Sky Community Services Manager for  Aged Care Assessments.

The Expo features a diverse program of practical activities, demonstrations and interactive sessions designed to inform, engage and entertain visitors throughout the day.

A well-established event on the Coffs Harbour calendar since 2015, the Living Well Expo is coordinated by a dedicated team of volunteers from Blue Sky Community Services, Carer Gateway, NSW Health, The Shoreline and Beatties Furniture.

With free entry, accessible public transport, and on-site parking, the event attracts visitors from across the Mid North Coast.
