THE COFFS Coast is set to once again host Australia’s best young touch footballers.
The 2026 DoorDash National Youth Championships (NYC) are being held from Monday, 28 September, to Thursday, 1 October, at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium and surrounding fields.
It will be the third straight year the NYC will be held in Coffs Harbour, extending Touch Football Australia’s strong
partnership with the region, and contributing more than $5 million in economic benefit to the NSW and Coffs Harbour economy each year.
The NYC is Australia’s premier youth Touch Football event, contested by the nation’s best young players across a unique mix of school, regional, and state representative teams.
Coffs Coast junior players will feature in Northern Eagles representative teams, encompassing a large part of Northern NSW.
The Northern Eagles teams will compete in the Boys and Girls Under 12s, Under 14s, Under 16s, and Under 18s divisions.
Teams will play off for national titles during finals day on Thursday, 1 October, at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium.
City of Coffs Harbour Mayor Nikki Williams said it would be a chance for locals to watch rising stars of the game.
“This is a premier event and one of the most-loved on the calendar,” she said.
“For locals, it’s an opportunity to see some of the rising stars in action while the players, officials, families, and supporters get to enjoy a regional city with magnificent sweeping beaches right on the doorstep.
“The C.ex Coffs International Stadium-anchored sports precinct enables this mass-participation gala to be held at the one venue in a laidback family-friendly city where it’s easy to get around and catch the sights.”
