DEAR News Of The Area,

YOU cannot be serious!

$500k just for design and planning application.

Still no decision after how many years?

Too many committees of bureaucrats who cannot and will not make a decision as it might upset some woke do gooder somewhere.

There was a perfectly good bridge (the old Bowen Bridge at Korora School and over the highway) that could have been remodeled to drop across the creek.

Or the ADF could have had an exercise to drop in a pontoon?

Too simple and too cheap!

There is already a relatively new design across the area from the Coles Shopping Centre to Sapphire saving $500k!

Meanwhile we will undoubtedly see a junket to visit somewhere like Paris (but definitely overseas!) and see the way they design and build bridges across the Seine.

How difficult can we make this?

I miss my walk to the headland.
