Letter to the Editor: No wonder people are moving to One Nation

DEAR News Of The Area,

THE National Party seems to be scratching its head as to why people are leaving them for One Nation.

Could it be that it’s because they say one thing and do another, so all trust in them is lost?

I totally agree with Wayne Welsh’s letter of last week, so won’t repeat those broken promises.

Again this week we watched what is in essence a National Party-controlled City of Coffs Harbour Council (both the mayor and deputy mayor are members for starters) move against the majority of their ratepayers’ wishes on several topics including the Jetty foreshores and a development in Red Rock where 210 of 247 submissions were against the proposal.
