Further to the letter from Liz Philpott (NOTA 2/1/2026), if you are against the current proposed changes to the Sawtell Pool, then please let this Council know.
We need to stand up for the people of Sawtell and surrounds.
This can be done by emailing your objection to the Council, by completing a submission via Have Your Say (found on the Council website) or by contacting a Councillor directly.
The most recent proposed plans for renovating and upgrading the Sawtell Pool included a children’s water play area, at the same time adding a couple of lanes to the pool.
We all know where the funds were diverted to, which meant Council had to return the grants as they couldn’t be used within the [required] timeframe.
