Sawtell Bowling Club will be hosting Commonwealth medalist Kelsey Cottrell

Commonwealth medalist Kelsey Cottrell.

ON Sunday 28 June, Sawtell Bowling Club will be hosting Commonwealth Gold, Silver and Bronze winner and 2026 Representative Kelsey Cottrell.

Kelsey has just won Australian International Bowler of Year, for the third time.

She will be facilitating two coaching clinics to bowlers from across the Mid North Coast.

She will also be attending our Ladies Lunge event, a Women in Sport, Bowls NSW initiative designed to increase the participation of women in sport, focused on Lawn Bowls.  Kelsey is generously giving her time to encourage local ladies to commence their bowls era.

Ladies Lunge is a short format, fun game focused on engaging women with bowls, and each other.  It is a place to foster friendships.  There will be free coaching, equipment,  bbq, music, prizes, and raffles.

There will be a Kelsey Cottrell merchandise pop up shop set up for the day, and Kelsey will have time available for signing merchandise.

There are still spots available for both the afternoon clinic and for the Ladies Lunge event.
