What’s Vibin’: a new tradition at the Jetty Memorial Theatre

THE City of Coffs Harbour’s Jetty Memorial Theatre is introducing Sunday Sounds, a new quarterly concert series celebrating beloved classics, performed by accomplished artists who know how to connect with an audience.

Created especially for seniors and music lovers, each concert offers an uplifting afternoon of music,

shared memories and warm conversation, complete with complementary afternoon tea after the show.

It is a fresh take on the much-loved Morning Melodies format and is now perfectly placed in the middle of Sunday afternoon.

The series opens on Sunday 1 February at 2pm with a very special performance by Keith Potger AO, founding member of The Seekers, in “Celebrating The Seekers – 60 Years”.

This intimate solo concert reflects on the songs, stories and influences that took The Seekers from Melbourne to international fame.

With rare archival footage and photographs, Keith brings the music to life, guided by his iconic 12-string guitar and the vocal harmonies he helped shape.

Audiences will hear timeless favourites from The Seekers, alongside beautiful original songs from Keith’s solo recordings and well-loved hits from the 1960s through to the 1980s.

Throughout the performance, Keith shares warm, humorous anecdotes from almost six decades on the international music scene, including a heartfelt tribute to his dear friend and colleague, the late Judith Durham.

Sunday Sounds is more than a concert.

It is about connection, nostalgia and the simple joy of great music, shared together.

Whether you are a regular patron or attending the theatre for the first time, you can expect a welcoming atmosphere and an afternoon that stays with you long after the final note.
