Coffs Harbour Pink Ladies donate equipment to the OT Department at Coffs Harbour.

THE Coffs Harbour Pink Ladies have donated equipment to Coffs Harbour Health Campus’ Occupational Therapy Department, expanding its patient loan pool.

Valued at more than $6,540, the donation provides patients with greater access to aids that support independence and comfort while recovering at home.

Acting Occupational Therapy Head of Department Gerard De Carle said the equipment plays an important role in helping patients manage mobility, hygiene and pressure care needs, while supporting a safe return home.

“The equipment loan pool is a fantastic way of potentially reducing the hospital stay of patients and returning them home to a safe environment with the equipment they need during their recovery,” he said.

“We are extremely grateful to the Pink Ladies and their ongoing dedication and support.

“Their generosity continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.”

Items donated include shower chairs, various toileting aids, and pressure care cushions and products.
