Coffs Suns youth score a win in Port Macquarie

COFFS Harbour Suns Youth Men have had a successful trip to Port Macquarie.

The Suns Under 20s team had an 81-66 win against the Port Macquarie Dolphins, during the latest round of their Basketball NSW Waratah Basketball League representative season.

The Suns held a 20-14 lead at quarter time, and had a 36-31 half-time lead.

The Suns made their move in the third quarter increasing their lead to 69-53 at three quarter time.

Noah Light top scored for the Suns with 28 points.

The Suns currently sit in fourth spot on the ladder with a 2-2 record.

The Suns head to Sydney this weekend for a doubleheader in Round 5.

They start with a matchup against Parramatta-Cumberland Basketball Association Chargers Black on Saturday, before backing up against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles on Sunday.

Their next home game is on Saturday, 9 May against the Port Macquarie Dolphins at Sportz Central.
