PINK Silks Trust has donated almost $20,000 to Coffs Harbour Health Campus to purchase Hopkins hysteroscopes to strengthen gynaecological services for women in the region.
The Hopkins hysteroscope provides high-definition optics and superior illumination allowing specialists to diagnose and treat conditions such as abnormal bleeding, polyps, fibroids and early-stage endometrial cancer with unmatched precision.
It also supports fertility by identifying and correcting uterine abnormalities that can affect pregnancy.
The Pink Silks’ generosity will benefit women by providing faster access to care.
More procedures will be possible in less time using minimally invasive treatment, resulting in less pain, faster recovery, often same-day discharge, and improved early cancer detection.
Pink Silks Social Media Manager Nicole Knight said the charity was passionate about supporting women’s health initiatives that make a real difference.
“Every dollar we raise goes back into supporting women’s health,” she said.
“This hysteroscope will enhance diagnosis, treatment and recovery of gynaecological conditions for countless patients across the Coffs Coast.”
Nurse Manager Perioperative Services Jordan Bellenger said the donation will make a lasting impact for women’s health services within the Coffs Clinical Network.
“The addition of these Hopkins hysteroscopes enables us to provide our patients with advanced treatment options in a timely manner,” she said.
“We are deeply grateful for the kindness of Pink Silks and their ongoing support for women’s healthcare in our area, this being the second donation to increase our gynaecological equipment stores to enable faster and better access to treatment.”
Pink Silks has a long history of funding vital equipment and services that strengthen women’s health care locally and nationally.
This latest donation is another example of their dedication to making a real difference in the health of the local community.
Pink Silks’ next fundraising events are their annual Golf Day on Friday 9 January and their annual Ladies Charity Race Day on Sunday 11 January 2026.
