IF you have wondered what creative skills might be lurking in you, then heading to see the Gypsy Art Group’s Spring exhibition might awaken them.

From Thursday, 8 October to Sunday, 11 October, 10am to 3pm daily, at the North Coast Regional Botanic Garden, individual artists will show their painting, drawing, printmaking, eco-dyed and knitted wearables, book binding, flame treated sculpture and craftwork. Collaborative works will also be on display.

Artists will be available to discuss their art-making techniques. They will include Marion Crear (gelli printing), Monique Buchbach (book binding), Ann Shepphard (painting), Kerrie Stewart (eco-printing) and Sharron Arnold (concertina books and journals).

“Creativity is flourishing within the group as we continue to hold mini workshops and share expertise at each fortnightly meeting at the Boambee Community Centre,” Ms Stewart said..

“We have welcomed several new members since the last exhibition.

“Come along, view the exhibition, chat with the artists & enjoy wandering in the garden.

“This may be the start of your own creative journey.”
