Wins to Comets, Panthers and Seahorses in Group 2 contests

THE SAWTELL Panthers and Woolgoolga Seahorses have remained undefeated, while the Coffs Harbour Comets were also winners during Round 5 of the Group 2 Rugby League season.

The Woolgoolga Seahorses went to the top of the ladder after their 28-10 win against the Nambucca Roosters at Coronation Park.

The Sawtell Panthers won their fifth straight game to start the season, edging out the Macksville Sea Eagles 18-16 in Macksville.

The Coffs Harbour Comets maintained third spot on the ladder with a 26-12 win against the Grafton Ghosts in Grafton.

Reserves

The Macksville Sea Eagles were 22-18 winners in their top of the table clash with the Sawtell Panthers.

The Woolgoolga Seahorses had a 24-22 win against the Nambucca Roosters, and the Coffs Harbour Comets were 32-12 victors against the Grafton Ghosts.

Women’s

The Nambucca Roosters won their grand final rematch 24-6 against the Woolgoolga Seahorses.

The Grafton Ghosts smashed the Coffs Harbour Comets by 34-4.

Under 18s

The Macksville Sea Eagles remained unbeaten with an 18-6 win against the Sawtell Panthers.

The Woolgoolga Seahorses defeated the Nambucca Roosters 26-8, and the Coffs Harbour Comets had an 18-12 win against the Grafton Ghosts.

Round 6

The Group 2 Rugby League season continues this weekend with Round 6 games.

The Coffs Harbour Comets host the Nambucca Roosters, and the Woolgoolga Seahorses host the South Grafton Rebels.

Grafton Ghosts host the Macksville Sea Eagles to kick off the round on Saturday afternoon.

Sawtell Panthers have the bye.
