A LEGENDARY local derby awaits when the Group 2 Rugby League season resumes this weekend.
Ladder leaders the Sawtell Panthers host the Coffs Harbour Comets at Rex Hardaker Oval to kick off Round 11 on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers had a 26-22 win when they last met in Round 4.
The second-placed Woolgoolga Seahorses travel to take on the Grafton Ghosts on Sunday afternoon.
The Seahorses were 14-0 winners in their first meeting this season.
The Macksville Sea Eagles host the South Grafton Rebels on Sunday afternoon.
The Rebels had a 36-32 win in their previous encounter in May.
The Sawtell Panthers sit at the top of the reserve grade ladder with four rounds to go before this season’s finals series.
The Nambucca Roosters lead the way in the women’s competition, and the Macksville Sea Eagles remain undefeated in the Under 18s.
