Emerald Beach accountant wins APAC Award

CEO of Acspert and Emerald Beach accountant Guy Hammond has been recognised in the APAC Insider Awards as “Best SME Accounting Software Specialist 2026” in New South Wales.

Acspert was selected following a detailed evaluation process conducted by APAC Insider Awards in-house research and judging team.

Mr Hammond told News Of The Area that the Acspert software was designed to increase the speed and reduce the cost of producing statutory financial statements.

“It substantially reduces the costs to both business owners and accountants,” he said.

AI Global Media Awards Executive Melissa Bramall said, “Our awards have a strong emphasis on recognising innovation and excellence across the region – particularly amongst small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) that may not always gain the recognition they deserve.”

“The process begins with nominations, which can come from third parties, self-submission, or from our own proactive outreach.

“Our team continuously monitors industry developments to identify businesses and professionals demonstrating excellence, even if they have not been formally nominated.”

Once a candidate is under consideration the team carries out a detailed evaluation using publicly available information such as performance data, client feedback, case studies, innovation highlights, and overall sector presence.

Each award has its own set of judging criteria tailored to the field in question, but common factors include commitment to service, impact within the industry, reputation, and evidence of growth or leadership.

APAC Insider is one of several Business-to-Business software published by AI Global Media, which has been running industry-specific awards programs for over a decade.
