THE Coffs Harbour Agricultural Show is back in May, bringing two days of entertainment, agriculture, and community spirit to the showgrounds.
Showcasing local life and agri-business since 1914, Coffs Ag Show’s theme this year is “Women in Agriculture, Cultivating the Future”.
Running Friday 1 May (4pm–10pm) and Saturday 2 May (9am–10pm), the 2026 Show Society committee has put together an action-packed program of events to run alongside the pavilion produce and craft contests.
New this year is Outback Jack’s Stockman’s Show, which will entertain family audiences with horsemanship, bush skills and humour.
A Silent Disco, LEGO exhibition and Supertank Fishing Show round out the fresh lineup of attractions.
Returning favourites include Old MacDonald’s (petting) Farm, Steve’s Reptile World, sideshow alley, show bags, and the ever-popular woodchop competition, cattle and equestrian events.
In the Coffs Harbour Show Pavilion, there will be an array of contests allowing people from all different backgrounds the opportunity to enter something they are passionate about.
“From jam making, to crafting quilts, baking fruit cakes or scones, photography, and growing oddly-shaped vegetables, it’s all open to the community to compete for small prizes,” Show Society President Kaye Hamilton told News Of The Area.
Also in the Pavilion are the artworks and projects from local preschools, primary schools and high schools.
“This is a great way for children to participate in a community run event and showcase their talents.”
Outside on the big stage on Saturday at 11.30am, Donovans Surf Club Restaurant and Bar chef Matt Donovan, will give a live cooking demonstration.
The Grand Parade follows that afternoon before a fireworks display closes out the night.
Ms Hamilton said the event remains a vital celebration of the Mid North Coast’s agricultural identity.
“It’s a place where the heart of our community beats loudly, where city and country connect.
“Our volunteers are our most valuable asset.
“Without volunteers, there would be no Coffs Harbour Agricultural Show.”
