AFL North Coast’s best senior players have represented their region against visiting teams in Coffs Harbour.
The North Coast Force men’s and women’s representative teams took on Central West and North West teams, during a big day of rep footy at Coffs Coast Sport & Leisure Park.
A late change meant the rep games were played in Coffs Harbour instead of the original venue of Port Macquarie.
The North Coast Force men retained the Challenge Cup they won last year, with two victories on the day.
The Force started the day on a winning note, defeating the Central West Eagles 10.7 (67) to 4.3 (27).
They then retained the Challenge Cup won last year, besting the North West Blue Heelers 6.12 (48) to 4.2 (26).
North Coast Force’s Jai Langenberg was awarded the Best Player Medal.
Women’s
The North Coast Force women were also in action as they split their two games.
The Force started the day by beating the North West Blue Heelers, 4.1 (25) to 2.2 (14), before going down 2.5 (17) to 1.2 (8) against the Central West Eagles.
North Coast Force’s Gabby Mooney was awarded the Best Player Medal.
