THE SYDNEY Sixers are coming to Coffs Harbour next week as part of their annual Cricket New South Wales Country Blitz.
The Sixers will be hosting a free Come & Try Clinic on Thursday, 30 July, from 3pm-5pm at Brelsford Park.
The visit is part of an initiative to bring the world’s best Big Bash players to country communities and cricket lovers across the state.
Local cricket club registrations will be open, and Sixers players will be encouraging as many people to sign up to play cricket this summer.
The upcoming clinic continues the Sixers strong relationship with Coffs Harbour, with the men’s side having played a number of matches here since 2020, while players have also visited the region for a number of clinics.
Sydney Sixers General Manager Rachael Haynes said the Country Blitz was a great opportunity to connect with and celebrate fans across the Sixers zones of New South Wales.
“Country Blitz is one of the highlights of our year because it gives us the chance to connect directly with the communities that support us so passionately from across the state,” she said.
“Our regional and rural fans are such an important part of the Sixers family, and taking our players into these areas is a great way to give back and help grow the game at a grassroots level.”
